Nexuiz  was created using CryEngine 3 and is currently available for XBox 360 and PC. I was the Lead Animator and Technical Artist for this project. Working closely with another animator, Bryan McConnell, and utilizing a motion capture system, we were able to create all of the character animations for this game in less than 6 months.  I rigged all of the characters, except the whale. I created all of the first person and several of the 3rd person animations. Charles Brudgardt and I coded the UI in ActionScript for use with ScaleForm. During the course of this project I created various tools in 3D Studio Max including an auto rigger for characters and cloth, an animation manager and exporter, and an animation ‘tracer’ to assist with motion capture clean up (Thanks to the folks at Naughty Dog for sharing this technique).
